Our case study covers the delivery of a high-level replacement of the glass & metal spandrels panels to the front facade curtain wall bay at Vineyard Heights.
The issued scope covered the replacement of the existing non-compliant glass spandrel panels and aluminium panels with an A1 fire rated insulated product.
The GR removal/replacement programme was delivered alongside and in tandem with the Main Contractor who delivered the fire cavity barrier element of the works. Access was provided by an onsite fixed scaffolding structure with an integral material hoist being utilised for the movement to and from the work-face of all the associated materials.
